Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 25, 2026

This policy explains how Archie (archieanswers.com) handles information for two groups: our business customers (“you”) and the people who call or text businesses that use Archie (“end callers”).

1. Information we collect

2. How we use it

3. SMS and calling consent

Archie sends texts on your business's behalf to people who contacted your business first, plus service messages such as booking confirmations. Every conversation honors STOP requests automatically and permanently. Message and data rates may apply to recipients. Mobile numbers and consent are never shared with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Service providers

We rely on a small set of processors to run Archie: Twilio (telephony/SMS), Retell (voice AI), Anthropic (language AI), Stripe (payments), Google (optional calendar sync and login), and our hosting providers. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.

5. Data retention and deletion

Communication data is retained while your account is active so your dashboard history works. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@archieanswers.com; we delete or anonymize within 30 days except where law requires retention.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, credentials are hashed, webhook endpoints are signature-verified, and access to production systems is limited. No system is perfectly secure; we notify affected users of breaches as required by law.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information. End callers may exercise rights regarding their conversation data through the business they contacted or directly via support@archieanswers.com.

8. Changes and contact

We'll post updates here and note the new effective date. Questions: support@archieanswers.com.
